The xG (expected goal) tells you the probability of scoring a goal from a given position on a football field. I trained this xG model using a multi-layer neural net on more than 80,000 shots in professional football games tracked by the Statsbomb dataset.

Unfortunately the site was banned from the school wifi after ~80 students signed up to vent about their teachers. Nevertheless, I've added documentation to this mishap of a chapter in my development career.
